AboveNet

• AboveNet has expanded their metro portfolio with the launch of Core Wave Services.
•  AboveNet announced its service expansion to the Miami market.

ACC Business - ACC Business has modified their expedite fees for Dedicated Nodal, Private Line, and Managed Internet and Private Network Transport (MIS/PNT).

• The new expedite fees (per channel/access) will be:
  $1,400 per T1 / DS1
  $3,000 per T3 / DS3
  $4,000 per OC3

Level 3 Communications - announced that it has upgraded its ultra-low-latency fiber-optic network connection from London to Frankfurt. The upgrade significantly improves latency on this route as well as the Frankfurt-to-New York and Frankfurt-to-Chicago routes, enabling higher-speed transaction rates with very low transmission delays for financial exchanges and other trading venues.

PAETEC - PAETEC announced that is has expanded its local telephone service to 92 additional rate centers across 19 states during the first six months of 2010. The rate center expansion allows PAETEC to provision its business-class local services in additional areas throughout the East Coast.

TelePacific

• TelePacific has opened their wireless division starting with data cards and MiFi hotspots. Later in the year, TelePacific will be expanding their offering to include voice products and PDAs.
• TelePacific now offers Colocation service in Sacramento, California.

Telx - Telx announced a 13,500 square foot expansion of its premier data center footprint at 350 East Cermak Road, located in the heart of the Chicago Business District.

Windstream - Windstream announced an expansion of its network data security portfolio with the introduction of Windstream Managed Security - Enterprise to protect the entire network of large and enterprise business customers.

XO Communications

• XO Communications has launched XO Ethernet VPLS, adding to its Ethernet Services portfolio.
• XO Communications has launched a new savings estimator tool that gives enterprises the ability to calculate an approximate cost-savings benefit of utilizing XO Enterprise Session Initiation Protocol.
• XO Communications announced an expansion of its metro network presence in the Seattle metropolitan market.
